Robert W. Bruggeman, 89, of Oregon, Ohio passed away December 3, 2007 in his home surrounded by his family. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 10, 1918 to Richard and Anna (Johlin) Bruggeman. Roberts passions included his family, fishing, golfing and hiking the Grand Canyon. He and his wife spent their winters in Pompano Beach, FL.Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Aleta (Dunlap) Bruggeman; daughters, Louise (Jay) Lowenstein, Carol Bruggeman, Ruth (Ken) Ankele and Jeanne (Lutz) Kurp; 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters, Emma Harmon and Gertrude Bruggeman, brother, David Bruggeman, and many nieces and nephews. No visitation is scheduled. The family requests any donations be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, First St. John Lutheran Church on Seaman St. or to the charity of donors choice.
