Robert R. "Bob" Chambers, 77, of Curtice, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Bob was born on September 9, 1938 in Clay Center, Ohio to George and Tillie (VonAhrens) Chambers. Bob was first and foremost there for his family. He was a generous, loving, caring and protective husband and father, who worked endlessly to provide for his family no matter how much time and effort it took. No matter if you were a relative, friend, or employee – you didn't have to ask: Bob had your back! He was a loving blessing to his family and friends. Bob was a Manager/Shipping Supervisor for Glasstech for 20 years, retiring in 2000. He loved camping and traveling with his family. Bob enjoyed working with his hands, remodeling projects and gardening with his wife. Bob is survived by his wife of 58 years, Vivian; sons, Robert (Victoria), Bruce (Rebecca), Brian (Marcia) Chambers; grandchildren, Rob (Sara), Jenny (Brandon), Andrew, Leanne, Zac, Rachel Chambers; siblings, Doris Shields, Ruth (Clarence) Diefenthaler, Glen Chambers. He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Donald and James. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd. on Monday, August 1, 2016 from 2 – 8 p.m. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Tuesday, August 2, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
