Obituary

Robert 'œBob' Claburn, 60, of Walbridge, Ohio went to be with the Lord on September 25, 2014 at The Perrysburg Center Genesis. He was born in Fremont, OH on August 13, 1954 to Hubert and Laura (Deacon) Claburn. Bob was employed many years as a lineman for Conrail. He was a member of Northwood Church of God. Bob loved hunting, trapping and fishing, receiving many awards for fishing. After his retirement Bob loved to walk in the park and ride his bike with his wife. He was a big Cleveland Browns fan along with the Indians, Cavs and faithful to the BLUE! To many he was known as 'œBig Dawg'. Bob was a good Christian man, he was loved by everyone he met, and he will be missed very much. Surviving are his loving wife of 17 yrs., Mary Sue; mother, Laura Purdy; daughter, Brooke (Dave) Adams; stepsons, Ronald (Robin) Cope, Chad (Susan) Cope, Ryan (Kelly) Cope; grandchildren, Austin, Alex, and Andrew Adams, Brittany and Bryan Gause, Ronnie Cope, McKenna, Maleah and Marisa Cope, Jordan Chasteen, Paxton and Ryan Cope Jr.; uncles Larry Deacon (Patty) and Albert Purdy. Bob is also survived by many loving family members and special friends, Skip Jacobs and Scott Wilson. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Hubert and step father, Louis Purdy. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Woodville Road Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury, on Sunday 12 noon -8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 11:00 a.m. in Northwood Church of God, 1838 S. Coy Road, Northwood, OH where the family will greet friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. With his love of animals, he would want memorial contributions to the Humane Society of the donor'™s choice or to the Northwood Church of God. Visitation: Sunday, 12 Noon - 8:00 p.m. Services: Monday, 11:00 a.m. @ Northwood Church of God Interment: Lake Township Cemetery
