Robert Cottingham Country
Robert Cottingham, 55, of Toledo, passed away after a longtime illness on Thursday, June 8, 2006. He was a lifetime resident of the Toledo area with dreams of buying a log cabin in Hocking Hills. He loved hunting, fishing and shooting his guns. One in a million, Bob was unforgettable to all who met him. He was a loving and dedicated father, first and foremost. He loved his grandchildren with all his heart. The little ones will never forget their Papa. He was a dedicated cousin and friend who would do anything for those he loved. He will be forever and always cherished and missed.
He now joins in heaven his mother and father, Myrna (Reynolds) and Robert V. Cottingham Sr.; his special cousin, Max D'Emilio; his beloved black lab, Babe, as well as many other loved ones who have passed on.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Jessica Stone and his granddaughter, Julia Stone, both of Tallmadge, OH; his son, Mack Cottingham and wife Shauna and his grandsons, Trenton and Tyler, all of Akron, OH, and 2 grand babies on the way; his former wife and friend, Cheryl Cottingham; cousins, Dave and Karen Reynolds, Shelley and Stan Kendrioski, Tammie D'Emilio; his life long best friends, Paul Tucker (Laura) Fredericksen, Mike (Julie) Fredericksen, Darrell Walton as well as other family and friends.
According to Bob's wishes there will be no visitation or service. Those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to consider the Autism Society of NW Ohio.
