Robert Leonard "Bob" Curavo, 78, of Walbridge, passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, October 13, 2026. He was born on February 3, 1948, in Toledo, Ohio, to the late Harley and Ann (Woods) Curavo.

Bob married Elizabeth "Liz" (Methena) Curavo in 1999, and she survives.

A proud 1966 graduate of Lake High School, Bob went on to serve in the United States Army, where he received an honorable discharge. Following his military service, he began working as a night stocker at Meijer, where he dedicated 24 years of service.

Bob was an avid sports fan who loved cheering on his favorite teams, including the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Lions, and Ohio State Buckeyes. He also enjoyed participating in fantasy football leagues. When he wasn't watching a game, Bob could often be found adding to his baseball card collection, spending quality time with his family, spoiling his pet cats, feeding and naming neighborhood squirrels, and feeding the birds while he bird watched. Some of his most cherished moments were those spent with his brothers, sharing the special bond they had throughout their lives.

Above all, Bob treasured his family and the time they spent together. He will be remembered for the memories he created, the moments he shared with those he loved, and the lasting impact he made on the lives of his family and friends.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Liz; his children, Jimmy (Ann) Curavo, Bobbie Jo (Victor) Vela, and Samantha (Steven) Curavo; his grandchildren, Colton Hetherington and Abby (Ben) Harris; and his younger brother, Thomas (Pam) Curavo.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his twin brother, William; his brother, Harley Curavo Jr.; and his stepfather, Tolly Nettles.

In honor of Bob's memory, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio - Perrysburg.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday, October 17, 2026, from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, located at 440 S. Coy Road. A Celebration of Life honoring Bob will begin at 4:00 p.m.

Bob will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but the memories he created and the love he shared will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
