Robert H. Dombrowski, 69, passed away on August 18, 2011 at his home. He was born on August 9, 1942 to John and Clara (Power) Dombrowski. Robert is a US Navy Veteran. He worked for 22 years at Kaiser Aluminum as a laborer and for Textileather for 22 years as a stationary engineer. Robert had many hobbies, including softball, fishing, hunting and bowling. He bowled 4 'œ300 games' in his lifetime. Robert was also a golfer and even manufactured golf clubs for many people. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Robert was most proud of the fact that he finished his bucket list by recently visiting Spain.
Robert is survived by his wife, Phyllis; mother, Clara; sons, James (Corinne) and Jonathon (Leah); grandchildren, Melissa, Jeffery, Austin, April (Andy), Erica and Gregory; great-grandchildren, Alex, Jordan and Jakob; brother, Keith Dombrowski, sisters, Patty Ann Briggs and Faye Dombrowski. He was preceded in death by his father; son, Michael; brother, Gary.
Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, on Sunday from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be in the funeral home on Monday beginning at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be private. Those wishing an expression of sympathy in Robert'™s name are asked to consider Hospice of Northwest Ohio or a charity of the donor'™s choice.
