Robert H. Haas, 86, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on December 25, 2007 at Lutheran Home at Toledo. He was born in Wood County on October 27, 1921 to Michael and Matilda (Reitzel) Haas. Robert was employed as a store keeper at Rossford Erie Ordinance for 21 years, and a custodian at the Toledo School Board for 17 years, retiring in 1982. He was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church, American Legion Dunberger Post, Lutheran Mens League, and Disabled American Veterans. Robert served in the Army during WWII and was a Purple Heart recipient.   Robert is survived by his loving wife of 59 ½ years, Melba; children, Robert (Deborah) Haas Sr., and Darlene (Terry) Swofford; 2 grandchildren; 2 step-grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother Glenn Haas.       Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday from 3-9 p.m. where Dunberger Post services will be held at 7 p.m.  Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday at 10:30 a.m. with interment following at Restlawn Memorial Park.
