Robert Pete Habel, 61, of Apache Junction, AZ and formerly of Millbury, OH, died June 17, 2006 at Hospice of Mesa.  He was born on December 8, 1944 to Lawrence and Geraldine (Griner) Habel.  Pete served in the U.S. Navy before retiring on disability.  While retired, Pete liked to fish and explore the mountains around Apache Junction.  He married Margaret J. Baldwin on December 21, 1970.   Pete was preceded in death by his sons, Anthony and Christopher; granddaughter, Toni; father, Lawrence and brother and sister-in-law, Larry and Barbara Habel.  He leaves behind his loving wife, Margaret; son, Jeffery; grandchildren, Cody, David, Shalee, Katlyn and Christopher Jr.; mother, Geraldine and sister, Christine Kerr.   Family and friends will be received at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Rd. Millbury, OH on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until 12 noon.  Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Lake Township Cemetery.
