Robert L. "Bob" Hartford, 85, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Wednesday, March 9, 2022 in his home. He was born in Oregon, Ohio on February 15, 1937 to Harold and Waneda (Elsea) Hartford. He married the love of his life Annabell (Bartlett) on June 21, 1957. Bob was a proud United States Army veteran, serving during the Korean War. He had his own roofing and siding business for many years. In his younger years he and his wife enjoyed trips to Las Vegas. Bob also was an avid fisherman and hunter, but what he cherished most was his family. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Annabell; children, Debbie Hartford, Robert Hartford Jr., Ann (Aaron) Nolan; grandchildren, Nicholas (Liza), Britney, Matthew, Holly, Heather, Evan, Sammi, Carson; numerous great-grandchildren; and sister, Sandra Whetsel. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Richard, Bill, Butch, Harold, Danny and Eleanor. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 South Coy Road, Oregon, Ohio on Friday, March 11, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
