Robert H. Heidebrink, 87 of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away on Sunday, January 6, 2019 at Perrysburg Commons. He was born on May 11, 1931 in Oregon, Ohio to Henry and Marian (Engel) Heidebrink. Robert graduated from Lake High School in 1949 and would later marry the love of his life, Betty (Zimmerman) on December 1, 1951. In his early years, Robert enjoyed bowling and drove different sales routes for Coca-Cola, Sealtest Milk and Hostess Cake before operating his own Open Pantry carryout. Before his retirement it became a Dairy Mart. He enjoyed watching sports and attending Toledo Mud Hens games, but what he cherished most was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Surviving is his wife of 67 years, Betty; children, Glenda (Donald) Allman, Rick (Judy) Heidebrink, David (Penny Smith) Heidebrink; 7 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Wilferd (Marilyn) Heidebrink, Howard (Janice) Heidebrink; and sister-in-law, Sharon Heidebrink. He was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Harold. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 from 2-8 pm. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family asks expressions of sympathy be directed to St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 112 E. Wayne St., Maumee, Ohio 43537.
