Robert A. Keel, 64, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, January 26, 2022 at St. Charles Mercy Hospital. He was born in Oregon, Ohio on June 9, 1957 to Robert and Evelyn (Schroeder) Keel. He graduated from Waite High School in 1975 and went on to work for the City of Toledo for 30 years before retiring in 2015. During his time he held several positions but most recently as a fleet mechanic for the Toledo Police. Bob was a Harley enthusiast and animal lover. He had a passion for fishing, building models, gardening, being with his family and riding buddies. Bob is survived by his four legged companions, Vivian and Eleanor; children, Heather (Jason) Chupp, Sarah (Eric) Marsh, Bobby (Katie) McDonagh; grandchildren, Dylan, Tyler, and Kyle Chupp, Sadie and Sophia Marsh, Jack, Emma, Ambrose, and Ada McDonagh. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bonnie and grandson, Ezekiel. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 South Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Monday, January 31, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. until the time of prayer service at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Bob's name may be directed to the Toledo Humane Society.
