Robert 'œBob' Joseph Keeley, 75, passed away on June 4, 2013 at Mercy St. Charles Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Bob was born on April 15, 1938 to Robert A. and Ruth (Van Dorn) Keeley. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy and served as a Seabee Reservist. Bob worked for the Toledo Lakefront Docks (CSX) for 40 years. He was a member of the Harbor View Yacht Club for 26 years, the Toledo Swiss Club and the Rossford Eagles. Bob was an avid boater and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He was a proud father and grandfather who followed and supported his children and grandchildren in all of their activities and lives. Bob was a loving husband to his wife, Carol (Nusser). He is also survived by his children, Becky (Greg) Spoerl of Perrysburg, Jon (Brenda) Keeley of Curtice, Mark Keeley of Pinkerington; grandchildren, Lauren Spoerl, Sarah (Anthony) White, Kelsey Keeley and Brent Keeley; sisters, JoAnn (Pete) Zunk and Nancy (Bill) Sedlack. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Friday, June 7, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11:00 A.M. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
