Robert G. Klag, 83, of Oregon, OH passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2004 in the Elizabeth Scott Community Home, Maumee, OH. He was born in Toledo, OH on January 5, 1921 to Robert and Gertrude (Norden) Klag. Robert served in the US Army as a Captain in Puerto Rico during World War II. He was employed 12 years by the Pure Oil Company, and then by St. Vincent Mercy Hospital as a refrigeration engineer, retiring in 1983. He is survived by his sons, Roud C. (Nancy) and Roul W. (Marie) Klag; daughter, Tate S. Wilson; 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren with another expected in May. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Frieda. There will be no visitation and funeral services will be private. Expressions of sympathy in Robert's memory can by made to the Salvation Army.
