Robert R. Krasula, 78, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Ebeid Hospice. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on September 19, 1943 to John and Wilma (Dull) Krasula. He was a past member of Good Shephard Catholic Church and graduated from Central Catholic High School. Bob worked at Libbey Owens Ford for 36 years before retiring in 2000. Upon retiring from LOF, he started his dream job as a licensed 1st mate for a number of Charter Boats on Lake Erie for 15 years. He loved playing pool and softball, even making it to Worlds on a couple occasions. Bob's true passion was being outdoors, especially somewhere fishing. He always cherished his time spent with family and they will miss him deeply. Bob is survived by his children, Laura Lynn Krasula, James (Katie Rutt) Krasula, Jacquelyn Krasula; grandchildren, James, Christian, Joseph, Tyler, Forest, Jade, Cammy; great-grandson, James; siblings, John (Diane), Paul (Patti), Norm, Mike (Janey), Betty Jean (Rick); and the late Karen Slagle's children, Beth (Jamey), Gary (Becky), Brian (Jojo), Kelly (Lisa); her 10 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, brother, Gary (Teri) and many nieces, nephews and loving family members. He was preceded in death by his parents; and longtime girlfriend, Karen Slagle. Friends and family may visit at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., Oregon, Ohio, 43616, on Tuesday, August 16, 2022 from 2:00 p.m. until the time of Celebration of Life at 7:00 p.m. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Ebeid Hospice.
