Robert R. Krontz, 86 of Toledo passed away on Tuesday, January 26, 2010 in Heartland of Oregon. Robert was born in Toledo on September 26, 1923 to Glen and Esther (Dickerhoff) Krontz. He was a US Army Air Corp veteran of World War II. Mr. Krontz was employed as a crane operator for Unicast for 37 years, retiring in 1984. Bob was an avid fisherman and hunter. Surviving are his loving wife of 64 years, Margaret; sons, Stephen Nero, Robert (Diana) Krontz, Dennis (Kim) Krontz; daughter, Margaret (Ronald) Curtis; sister, Donna Jenkins; grandchildren, Jennifer, Julie, Autumn, Amanda, Ronnie, Brian, Rick, Andrew and Jeremy and 12 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Naida Shivley, Naidine Barney and Phyllis Krontz. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 2:00 pm in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road where visitation will begin at 11 am and continue until services begin at 2 pm. Interment will be private. Visitation: Saturday, 11:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Services: Saturday, 2:00 p.m.
