Robert W. "Bob" Mason, 66, of Oregon, OH, passed away on February 12, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born on January 23, 1950 in Toledo, Ohio to Leonard and Emily (Laman) Mason, Sr. Bob worked for Jones Transfer Truck Lines for 20 years and most recently was employed by TARTA – Tarps. He attended Cedar Creek Church. Bob loved camping with his family, University of Michigan football, and fishing with his father and brothers when he was younger. Surviving is his wife, Phyllis; children, Lisa Mason, Robert Mason, Samantha (Jose) Sandoval; grandchildren, Aaliyah Mason, Jose Jr., Nathaniel, Bradon; great-grandson, Carter; siblings, Leonard (Ruth) Mason, Jr., John (Patricia) Mason, Kenneth (Judy) Mason, Judy Reidling; sister-in-law, Connie Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Pauline Mason, Paul (Judy) Mason, Sam Mason and Ruthanne (Dave) Bennett. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Tuesday, February 16, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Those wishing an expression of sympathy in Bob's memory are asked to consider his family.
