Robert W. Piddock, 90, of Hillsdale. Michigan, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, October 4, 2017, surrounded by his loving family and friends. Bob was born in Tontogany, Ohio on October 28, 1926 to Floyd and Margaret (Huebner) Piddock. On July 23, 1949, he married the love of his life, Mary Elson. He owned and operated Piddock Ford in Fayette, Ohio, managed Price Mobile Home Sales, and later worked as a realtor in Toledo, Ohio and Hillsdale, Michigan. His hobbies included: boating, hunting, and camping in the Upper Peninsula. Bob is survived by his daughters, Cheryl (Bob) Peiffer and Susan (Gary) Laird; grandchildren, Jeff (Kelli) Peiffer, Krissy (Tom) Mitchen, Emmet Sheronick, Katie Sheronick, Traci (Dave) Cress, Jon (Nikki) Laird, and Andrew (J.J. Rogers) Laird; great-grandchildren, Grant, Everett, Evelyn, and Gwendelyn. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Mary; brother, Ronald Piddock; grandson, Matthew Peiffer; and son-in-law, Emmet Sheronick. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury, Ohio (east of I-280) on Saturday, October 7, 2017 from 10:00 am until time of memorial service at 12:00 pm. Private burial will take place in Lake Township Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association or a charity of the donor's choice.
