Robert L. Ruch, 88, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, January 17, 2018. Robert was born in Lima, Ohio on February 1, 1929 to William and Hester (Carr) Ruch.. He served in the United States Army Reserve for 13 years. On May 19, 1956, he married the love of his life Rose M. Ruch. Robert worked for Libbey Glass and retired as a boilermaker from BP Refinery. Robert is survived by his sisters, Carolyn (Joseph) Blowers and Louise (Jim) Sommers; brother-in-law, Terry (Cheryl) Knestrick; sister-in-law, Pamela Knestrick; along with many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and wife, Rose. The family will receive friends at the Genacross Lutheran Services – Toledo Campus Chapel, 131 North Wheeling Street, Toledo on Saturday, January 20, 2018 from 9:30 am until time of funeral service at 10:30 am.
