Robert H. Sheetz, Sr., 85, passed away August 31, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. He was born in Toledo on April 11, 1928 to Albert and Elsie (Papenfuse) Sheetz. He was a U.S. Marine Veteran serving in Korea. Bob was a lifetime truck driver. Bob enjoyed camping, fishing and making his homemade wine. Surviving is his wife, Carol Sheetz; children, Lesette Weaver, Bob (Julie), Ken (Stella), Kim (Ed) Koprowski, Sandy (Don) Hilt; 15 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren. Bob was preceded in death by his parents, first wife, Anna, and siblings, Albert, Owen and Doris. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Tuesday 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held in the funeral home on Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will be private.
