Robert J. Soovagian Sr., 70 of east Toledo, passed away unexpectedly in his residence on Friday, May 28, 2010. Robert was born in Toledo, Ohio on December 17, 1939 to Jack and Helen (Fejes) Soovagian. He was employed with the former UniCast Corporation many years. He retired from Libbey Glass in 2001 after 7 years of service. After his retirement Robert worked for the Toledo Blade as a paper carrier. He was an avid Detroit Tigers and Lions fan. Surviving are his loving wife, Karen; children, John Soovagian, Debbie Tippey-Laufer, Diane Malhas, Robert Soovagian Jr; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Also surviving are many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Doreen Greer, Denise Salmonpoor; sister, Diane Hatfield. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S.
