Robert L. Susor, 90, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Saturday, June 27, 2009 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born on July 28, 1918 in Oregon Township to Frederick and Virginia (Vincent) Susor. Robert worked out of Local #85 as a boilermaker for 35 years retiring in 1981. He was an Army veteran of WWII and enjoyed gardening and stained glass making in his spare time. Surviving are his wife of 67 years, Myrtle I.; sons, Robert (Lindsey) of Marietta, GA and Fred (Peg) Susor of Oregon, OH; daughter, Susan (Jeff) Hanthorn of Oregon, OH; brother, Glen; sister, Helen Konoff; 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.. Graveside services took place on Tuesday, June 30, 2009 in Lake Township Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in Robert's name may be given to the charity of the donor's choice. Arrangements are being handled by the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Homes.
