Robert D. Syperski, 75, of Toledo, OH passed away July 30, 2007 at the Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek. He was born in Toledo, OH on December 21, 1931 to John and Vera Syperski. Robert was a veteran of the U.S. Marines, serving during the Korean War, and was the recipient of the Bronze Star and the Purple Heart. Robert had been employed as a scheduling manager at OI for 30 years.
Surviving are his children, Pam Driver, Sam (Linda) Syperski, Alan (Cary) Syperski, Peggy (George) Knecht and Nick Syperski; mother of his children, Sharon Syperski; grandchildren, Adam and Erin Driver, Kevin Chadwick, Jessie Knecht and Brittani Syperski; great grandchildren, Helena and Noah Driver. Robert was preceded in death by his parents and brother, John Syperski.
Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be private.
