Robert "Bob" V. Thomas, 90, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Friday, May 2, 2025 in his home. He was born on Sept. 5, 1934 to Clara and Joseph Thomas. Bob graduated from Waite High School and always enjoyed supporting parish events in East Toledo, as a member of the Epiphany of the Lord Parish – St. Thomas Aquinas Church. He enjoyed growing tomatoes every summer, long bike rides, and most of all, spending time with his family and grandchildren.

Surviving are his children; Kevin (Jen), Therese (Larry), Paul (Lynne), Steve (Jean), Ken (Michelle), Diane (Dan) Trainor, Elaine (Don) Miller, Joe (Missy), Cheryl (Jim) Ehrsam, Mike (Jen), Jenny (Jamey) Whited, and Bobby (Amber). He is also survived by his pride and joy; 35 grandchildren and 10; great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; grandson, Ryan; and sisters Barbara, Theresa; and brother Godfrey. Surviving siblings include; Anthonia Burger, Dave (Pat), Anthony (Stella), Mary Alford, Christine; and brother-in-law Marvin (Karen) Traver. Special thanks to neighbors Katie and Malachi for helping honor his last wish of remaining independent in his home until the end.

Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Thursday, May 8, 2025 from 2:00 p.m.-8:00 p.m. with Recitation of the Rosary at 3:00 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, May 9, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Epiphany of the Lord – St. Thomas Aquinas, 729 White St., Toledo, where the family will greet friends one hour prior to Mass. Interment will follow in Ft. Meigs Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in Bob's memory can be made to the Boy Scouts of America Troop 57 (Epiphany of the Lord Parish) or Helping Hands of St. Louis.
