Robert V. 'œBud' Osenbaugh, 78, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, May 28, 2013, surrounded by his loving family. Bud was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 3, 1934 to John and Mary (Simonis) Osenbaugh. Bud attended Waite and Macomber High Schools prior to his service in the US Navy. On September 21, 1957, he married Marilyn Krieg. He was employed with Libbey Owens Ford for 30 years, retiring in 1982. Bud enjoyed golfing and worked many years in the pro shop at Collins Park Golf Course. He was an avid bowler and enjoyed bowling on the Keenagers League at the Toledo Sports Center. Bud was a devoted fan of the Toledo Lady Rockets Basketball Team and the Detroit Tigers. In his spare time he enjoyed woodworking and listening to concerts at Friendship Park. Bud is survived by his wife of 55 years, Marilyn; children, Cindy Muir and David Osenbaugh; grandson, John Gregory; sister, Winnie Chasteen; along with many nieces, nephews, and loving family members; especially great niece, Jena.. He was preceded in death by his parents. Friends may call at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road on Friday, May 31, 2013 from 2:00 -8:00 pm. Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, June 1, 2013 at 10:00 am in the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Restlawn Memorial Park.
