Robert C. Winkle, 83, of Walbridge, Ohio , passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg. He was born in Toledo , Ohio on July 29, 1931, to Herbert and Luella ( Harrison ) Winkle. Bob served his country honorably in the United States Air Force. He worked for LOF on East Broadway for 41 years, retiring in 1990. Bob was happy only when he was doing for others - mostly his wife, children and grandchildren. Bob is survived by the love of his life, wife, Emma Jean; children, Kevin (Jackie) Winkle, Karen (Mark) Miesse; brothers, George Winkle, William (Janet) Winkle; his beloved grandchildren, Brian and Matthew Winkle, Haley Wright; step-grandchildren, Tyler and Bethany Miesse; special nieces and nephew, Kristine Edler, Michelle Mackey; and Eric Winkle. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister-in-law, Mary Jane Winkle. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Monday, February 23, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Lake Township Cemetery .
