Robert D. Wise Sr. 76, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Saturday, October 26, 2019 at his home. Bob was born in Toledo, Ohio on July 31, 1943 to Robert and Dorothy (Lowe) Wise. On April 7, 1962, he married Paulette Daniel. Bob was a veteran of the United States Army and worked for Chrysler Machining for 30 years, retiring in 1998. He was an avid card player; making yearly trips to Las Vegas where he participated in the Senior World Series of Poker. Bob enjoyed golfing, bowling, coaching little league baseball,spending time with his family, and hanging with his long time friend Ralph at the local bar playing keno Bob is survived by his wife of 57 years, Paulette; children, Deanna Goss, Robert (Jane) Wise Jr., and William (Angela) Wise; grandchildren, Joshua Wise, Sara (Cindy) Sanburn, Dakota Goss, Jacob Wise, Natalie Wise, Marissa Wise, Zachary Wise, and Courtney Wise; great-grandchildren, Jacob, Mary Jane, Aria, Ellet, and Dakota. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Larry Wise; and grandson, Cody Goss. A celebration of Bob's life will be held Friday, November 1, 2019 from 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road Oregon. Expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
