Roberta I. '˜Bertie' Clifton, 89, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Thursday, October 16, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Bertie was born in Toledo, Ohio, on April 28, 1925 to Robert and Irene (Gass) Case. Bertie was proud to be a part of incorporating Oregon as a member of the Oregon Non-Partisan Municipal League. For 15 years, Bertie operated Bertie'™s Wedding Flower Boutique, and was known for her beautiful flower creations. She also was employed with Save Electric and Johns Manville. Bertie enjoyed volunteering and being a member of the Oregon Senior Center. Her hobbies included: fishing, snowmobiling, and feeding the birds and deer in her backyard. Bertie will be remembered for her loving caring spirit, spunkiness, deep faith, and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Bertie is survived by her sons, Robert (Sue) Dunmyer, Timothy Dunmyer; step-daughter, Cheryl (John) Noftz; grandchildren, Robert (Clayton Brown) Dunmyer and Tammy (Scott) Henegar; great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Braedan, Ryan, Adrianne, and Zack; nephew, Clyde (Ruth) Case; nieces, Melanie Reed and Becky (Howard) Prielipp; great nephews, Aaron, Andrew, Josh; great niece, Amber; along with many loving friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Herbert; daughter-in-law, Susan Dunmyer; brother, Albert (Joanne) Case; and sister, Myrtle Case. A Celebration of Bertie'™s Life will be held Saturday, October 25, 2014 from 2:00 pm '" 4:00 pm at the James Hancock Oregon Senior Center, 5760 Bay Shore Road, Oregon.
