Roberta Russell, 79, of Northwood, Ohio entered into eternal life in Heaven on Thursday, July 10, 2003 from St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. Roberta was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She greatly enjoyed flower and vegetable gardening. Her yard was always full of beautiful blooms and her family and friends were supplied with fresh vegetables during the growing season. She also worked outside the home in clerical positions at Ideal Laundry, Donovan Wire and Iron and Molnar Packing Company. Roberta was born to Sylvester and Loretta Myers on August 21, 1923. She married A.J. Russell on June 21, 1944. He preceded her in death. She is survived by son, Jack Russell; daughter, Joyce (Michael) Hollanshed; grandchildren, Stacy, Scott and Melissa Russell, Averia and Jay Hollanshed,and brother, Melvin (Bearice) Myers. Also survived by step siblings, Marynette Hipp, Bonnie Bollinger, Donna Najarian, John Myers,and Joan Bettinger. Visitation will be held Sunday from 2 to 9 pm in the Eggleston-Meinert Funeral Home, 1111 Woodville Road, Millbury, Ohio, where funeral services will be conducted on Monday at 1:00 pm., Rev. Rob Brackett officiating. Entombment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park. Contributions in Robertas name are asked to be given to the charity of the donors choice.
