Rodolfo Sanchez passed away on September 25, 2015 surrounded by family and friends. Born in Genoa, OH on October 20, 1949 to Rodolfo and Julia (Siller) Sanchez. He served in the US Army, in the Vietnam War, earning a Purple Heart. He later became a devout, faithful servant to the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. He was an avid music lover, played bass and loved singing Tejano music with family and friends. He will be remembered most for his story telling and huge, giving heart. He was like family to all that knew him. Survived by beloved wife and true love, Juanita "Janie" (Garcia) Sanchez, of 47 years. Children, Gina Garcia-Sanchez, Danny (Diane) Sanchez, Lisa (Ricardo) Gonzales-Sanchez, April and Linda Sanchez, Connie, Monalisa, Ursula and Sonya Ballez; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; siblings, Ramon and Yolanda Sanchez, Olivia (Julian) Herrera, Rolando (Mary) Obregon, Anita (Steve) Martin, Esmeralda Obregon. Very dear to his heart, Rudy Guevara, Marcus Sanchez, Mateo Sanchez, and Gonzalo Camacho; along with more family members and friends. He was preceded in death by parents and siblings, Ralph Costilla, Alfonso, Linda, Roger, Richard Sanchez and many loved ones. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, 1111 Woodville Rd., Millbury, Ohio on Friday, October 2 from noon until 8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 3 at 9 a.m. Burial will be at Restlawn Cemetery. A luncheon will be held back at the funeral home after the committal service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to April Sanchez to help with funeral cost.
