Ronald L. Baker Sr., 76, passed away on February 20, 2015 at St. Charles Hospital, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 5, 1938 to Harold and Dorothy (Kern) Baker. Ronald graduated form Waite High School in 1957 and worked for the City of Oregon for 23 years. Ronald was a member of St. Mark Lutheran Church in Toledo. His greatest joy was his family. He also enjoyed reading history books, camping with his family and researching family genealogy. Ronald cherished the winters he and his wife Theone spent in Florida. They are now reunited and can watch the pelicans on Fisherman's Wharf once again. Ronald is survived by his children, Annette Baker, Ronald Jr. (Kimberly) Baker, Denise Baker, Roger (Christine) Baker and Richard (Delinda) Baker; sister, Sandra McCormick; 8 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Theone in 2012; parents, and grandchild, Joshua David King. Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd., on Monday, February 23, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will take place in the funeral home on Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Restlawn Cemetery.
