Ronald L. Britt, 82, beloved husband, father, and friend, passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2025 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. Ronald was born on July 3, 1943 in Luckey, Ohio to John L. and Eleanor (Schaal) Britt.

Ron was united in marriage to Gloria J. Oloshore at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Temperance, Michigan. Together, they shared a loving and devoted union of 56 years and 11 months, a testament to enduring love and partnership.

Ron dedicated many years of hard work to Ryder before retiring in 2008. He was known for his strong work ethic, steady presence, and quiet generosity. Those who knew him will remember his sense of humor, kindness, and the deep love he had for his family. Providing for his loved ones was his greatest passion — he often worked two jobs to ensure they were well cared for. Yet, even with his demanding schedule, Ron made time for one of his favorite joys: traveling. From a young age through his later years, he found happiness in exploring new places. He especially loved traveling with his beloved wife, taking her on countless adventures across the United States. Some of their most cherished memories were made during Christmases spent in Florida, a tradition they both treasured. Traveling with her was one of his greatest joys and a reflection of the life and love they shared.

He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife, Gloria Britt; daughter, Jennifer (Dan) Plouff; granddaughters, Becca Graves, Taylor Graves; great-grandchildren, Caden Graves, Davina Ford, Amara Ford, Rylan Graves; brothers, Thomas (Carol) and Dennis Britt; and many nieces and nephews.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents, son, Ryan, and sister, Sharon.

The family will receive friends at Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Millbury Rd., on Thursday, October 9, from 2-8:00 p.m. where funeral services will be held on Friday, October 10, at 11:00 a.m.
