Ronald L. Hotz, 70, of Millbury, Ohio passed away at his home on Tuesday, March 5th, 2024 with his loving family by his side. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on January 23rd, 1954 to Robert and Vivian (Lorah) Hotz. Ron graduated from Lake High School in the class of 1972 and went on to attend The University of Toledo where he would obtain his Bachelors of Science degree. On June 2nd, 1990, he married the love of his life, Debbie (McNeely). Ron achieved his LPN license and began a career at Cook Medical, Incorporated where he worked as a regional sales manager for over 35 years. Ron had many passions in life, chief among them being his friends and family, including his dogs. He was also passionate about music, and the study and practice of the martial arts and healing arts. Ron was very proud to study martial arts with his children and achieved multiple black belts and certificates of accomplishment alongside his son and daughter. He was proud to own and drive a classic convertible which he repaired and restored in stages since he bought it in 1989. He enjoyed sharing all of his passions with his loved ones. Ron was a selfless man and a great provider for his family.

Ron is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Debbie, son, Benjamin Hotz; daughter, Katie Hotz; and brother, John (Mary Ann) Hotz; nephew, Scott (Jill) Hotz; niece, Chrissy (Alex Greenland) Hotz; and great-nephew, Athen. He was preceded in death by his parents.

The family will receive friends at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280), on Saturday, March 9th, 2024 from 1:00pm – 6:00pm. Private graveside services will be held. Memorial contributions in Ron's name may be directed to the Wood County Humane Society.
