Ronald E. "Deda" Komives, 77, of Toledo, Ohio passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on October 20, 1940 to Antone and Mary (Fuleky) Komives. Ron was employed with Prestole Everlock for 26 years and retired from Perrysburg Machine and Tool after 25 years as a die setter. He was a member of the N.R.A. and the Gibsonburg Sportsman Club. Ron was very proud of his Hungarian heritage and enjoyed hunting and fishing with his nephew, Mikey. Surviving are his wife of 43 years, Marlyn; sons, Ronald, James, William and Tommy Komives; daughter, Tina (Matt) Nichols; 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandchild, Levi; siblings, Tony, Bill and Patsy. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, on Friday from 2-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home with interment following in N. Oregon Cemetery.
