Rosa C. Mims, 81, formerly of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Monday, August 28, 2023, in Grove City, Ohio. Rosa was born December 23, 1941, in Toledo, Ohio to Clarence and Esther (Diebert) Groll. In 1959, she graduated from Olney High School. She married Charles B. Mims May 7, 1960. Mrs. Mims worked in housekeeping at Maumee Bay State Park, as a sales associate at Dillards, and Subway for many years. She enjoyed fishing and playing bingo at many local bingo halls. Her greatest love was her family and was the neighborhood mom to many of her children's friends.

Rosa is survived by her children, Jill (Wesley) Ferree, Jacqueline Smart, Charles Mims Jr., Corey (Paula Lewandowski) Mims, and Cheryl Mims; 13 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren; sister, Patricia Imm; along with many loving family members and friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Esther Groll husband, Charles B Mims Sr. brother, Leslie Groll; and daughter-in-law, Laurie Mims.

The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) Thursday, August 31, 2023, from 1:00 pm until funeral service at 6:00 pm. Private interment: Restlawn Memorial Park. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to a charity of the donor's choice.
