Rose M. Lisowski, 91, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away at Orchard Villa Nursing Home on December 29, 2014. She was born in Rossford on March 11, 1923 to Matthew and Rosalia (Harsany) Chromik. She married her loving husband, Stanley in 1950. Rose worked at Kroger and the Oregon Library. She was a member of St. Thomas Aquinas Church, Sokol Club of Rossford and Weight Watchers.
Surviving is her husband, Stanley Lisowski; daughter, Pattie Yarger; grandchild, Laurie (Tony) Conti; great grandchildren, Keegan and Kristen; sister, Maggie Warchol; and many nieces, nephews and extended family members. She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Wilma Adams; brother, Steve Chromik; brother-in-law, Irv Warchol Jr.; and nephew, Robert Chromik Sr.
Friends may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 South Coy Road on, Friday January 2 from 2:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will also be in held in the funeral home on Saturday January 3 from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions can be directed to Epiphany of the Lord Parish - St. Thomas Aquinas.
