Rose A. Toth, 90, of Oregon, Ohio passed away May 11, 2004 in Heartland of
Oregon. She was born in Homestead, PA to Joszef and Anna (Viszlai) Hegedus on
April 3, 1914. Rose was the widow of Stephen Toth whom she was married to for
60 years before he preceded her in death on 1995. Rose and Steve were always
together except for their time apart when he came from Hungary. He left his wife
and child behind, joined the U.S. army, fought in WWII and then took time to
establish himself in Birmingham. Nine years later he sent for her and now 9
years after his death he welcomed her home again. Rose was a member of St.
Stephen Catholic Church and the Altar Rosary Society.
Surviving are her son, Nandor (Mary) Toth; grandchildren, Alex Toth, Jennifer
(Steve) Pasztor, Eric Toth; great-grandchildren, Stephen Pasztor and Bailee Rose
Pasztor. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, brother, Albert
Hegedus and sister, Malvin Toth.
Family and friends may visit at the Kinsey Funeral Home, Birmingham Chapel, 2001
Consaul Street, Toledo, OH on Friday, May 14, 2004 from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45
p.m. followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00 p.m. in St. Stephen Catholic
Church. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy in
Rose's memory can be made to St. Stephen Catholic Church or Heartland Hospice.
