Rosemarie J. Axt, 84, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully, Sunday, May 1, 2022 surrounded by her loving family. Rosemarie was born May 11, 1937 in Toledo, Ohio to John and Marie (Gerl) Krebel. She was a graduate of Whitney Vocational High School and Owens Technical College. She was a longtime member of the German American Festival Society and GBU. Rosemarie was devoted to her family; cooking and baking for holiday gatherings and caring for her grandchildren. Rosemarie is survived by her daughters, Lucinda (Dennis) Fisher and Patricia (David) Thompson; grandchildren, Alecia (Christopher) Sullivan, Jennifer Fisher, Nicholas (Samantha) Thompson, and Andrew (Brandi) Fisher; and great-grandchildren, Emma, Jameson, Kolton, Kylie and one coming in July. Preceded in death by her parents and husband Ernest in 1962. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road Thursday, May 5, 2022 from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm. Funeral services Friday, May 6, 2022 at 11:00 am in the funeral home. Interment: Calvary Cemetery.
