Rosemary Jablonski, 79, of Northgate Apartments passed away peacefully in her sleep on Saturday, March 30, 2013. Her family takes comfort in knowing that she is victorious over death through her faith in Christ. She was born to Irene and James Evanoff on April 15, 1933 in Toledo, Ohio. She attended Oakdale School and later graduated from Waite High School. While working at Toledo Hospital, she met Daniel D. Jablonski Sr. They were married on November 14, 1960 and lived in East Toledo. They moved to Northgate Apartments in 1983 when it opened. She was the last remaining original resident.
Rosemary enjoyed embroidery and needlepoint. Her favorite hobbies included reading and suduko. She loved spending time with her family and attending Mud Hens games. She was a dedicated member of Lighthouse Christian Fellowship in Walbridge.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Ruth Belcher and Daniel (Angel) Jablonski Jr., her grandchildren, Michael Belcher, Pamela (Bill) Furrow, John Belcher, Tiffanny (Eric) Adams, Courtney (Joe) Woody, Cirilo and Romilio. She also had 11 great-grandchildren, her sister, Ruth (Kenneth) Duty, and many nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend thanks to her aid, Barb, for her care over the years. She is preceded in death by her spouse, Daniel D. Jablonski Sr. (May 11, 1987) and her parents.
She will be remembered for her stubbornness and feisty sense of humor.
Friends and family may visit Eggleston-Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 S. Coy Rd. on Wednesday, April 3rd, from 2-8 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Thursday, April 4th, at 11:00 am. Interment will follow at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers expressions of sympathy in Rosemary'™s name may be directed to the American Diabetic Association or the American Cancer Society.
