Rosena Blackledge, 87, passed away on February 7, 2013 at the Lutheran Home of Toledo. She was born in Toledo on August 27, 1925 to Robert and Amie (Lauman) Schudel. Rosena worked as a secretary for the Oregon Board of Education for 24 years before retiring in 1987. She enjoyed bowling, needlecraft, monthly luncheons with friends and especially spending time with her grandson, Roy. Rosena is survived by her son, Donald (Betty) of Oregon, OH; daughter, Patricia (Roger) Hulslander of Chapel Hill, NC. and grandson, Roy Blackledge. Rosena was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ivan; sister, Helen; brothers, Ernest and Robert. Friends and family may visit at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel 440 S. Coy Rd., on Sunday, February 10, 2013 from 2-8 pm. Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Monday beginning at 10:00 am with interment following in Clay Township Cemetery.
