Rowene L. Bauer,87, of Oregon, OH, passed away on Wednesday, March 3, 2004 at Bay Park Community Hospital. She was born on November 22, 1916 to Charles and Caroline (Miller) Hammel in Carnegie, PA. Rowene was a member of Unity United Methodist Church and past president of their Sunday school class (Heart to Heart). She also was a member of Oregon AARP #2665. Surviving is her loving husband of 62 1/2 years, Donald; sons, Larry (Judy) and Rodney (Diane)grandchildren, Brad (Annelise), Chris and Judy; great-granddaughter, Addicen; twin great-grandsons, Bayley and Cayden and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Rowene was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Hazel Roush and brothers, Ellis and Charles Hammel. Visitation and funera services will be private. Arrangements by the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel. Interment will take place in Willow Cemetery.
