Obituary

Rowland F. "Tim" Timbrook 69, of Oregon, Ohio passed away on Sunday, October 19, 2003 in St. Vincent Medical Center. Mr. Timbrook was born in Toledo Ohio on June 30, 1934 to Fay David and Laura (Engers) Timbrook. Tim worked as a glazier for 30 years at PPG Industries. In 1985 he became the co-owner and operator of Maumee Valley Glass and Mirror, working until his retirement in 1992. He was a member of the Glazier Local #948. Tim was an avid pinochle player and played with the same group of friends for over 40 years. Mr. Timbrook also was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church where he devoted much of his life, serving as elder, deacon, past president, and sunday school teacher for many years. But his first love was being with his family and he especially enjoyed hunting and fishing with his sons. Surviving are his loving wife, Betty; children, Rowland "Ron" (Lori), Matthew (Karen), Betsy (Geoffrey) Skiver and Robert Timbrook; brother, Richard (Patricia) Timbrook; grandchildren, Kelly, Daniel, Jamie, Katie, Andrew, Emily, Jenna, and Kyle. He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Olive Timbrook and brothers, William and Robert Timbrook. Family and friends may visit at the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, 440 S. Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Tuesday from 4-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 2 to 9pm. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 11:00 am in Bethlehem Lutheran Church 106 Plumer Street, Toledo. Interment will be in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorial contributions in Tim's memory can be made to Bethlehem Lutheran Church. Visitation: Visitation Times 4-9 Tuesday & 2-9 Wednesday Coy Road Chapel
