Ruby L. Cremeens, 87, passed away Tuesday, April 24, 2012, at Advance Specialty Hospital. She was born in Tazewell, Tennessee, on March, 3, 1925 to Butler and Alice (Tennyson) Robertson, and raised by Monroe and Minnie Poore. Ruby was a waitress in the Toledo, Ohio area for over 60 years. She enjoyed spending her time at the local bingo halls. She is survived by her daughters; Vergie Snyder, Nora Bender, and Pam Foufos; sons, Ed, Jim (Lori), Don, and George (Carol) Cremeens; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Woody. Also surviving are many relatives and friends in Tazewell, TN, including her special niece Mabel Oaks. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents, husband James Cremeens, daughter, Dora Parks; along with numerous brothers and sisters. Friends and family may visit Eggleston-Meinert & Pavley funeral home on Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 11:00 a.m Interment will follow at Forest Cemetery.
