Ruby M. Hammond, 93, formerly of Mason St., Toledo, OH passed away September 29, 2006 in Lutheran Home of Toledo. She was born in Toledo on June 9, 1913 to William and Mary (Herzig) Hammond. Ruby was employed as an insurance administrator at the  Owens Corning Fiberglass Corporation for 33 years, retiring in 1976. She was a member of Eastminster United Presbyterian Church and Lotus Chapter Order of Eastern Star.  Ruby was an avid bowler and who also enjoyed golfing in the summers. Ruby spent much of her retirement traveling throughout the United States. She is survived by her nieces, Rosann Murray and Virginia Pease.   Friends may call in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, 440 S. Coy Road at Starr Avenue where visitation will be Monday beginning at 11:00 am and will continue until the beginning of funeral services at 1:00 pm.  Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.  Memorial contributions in Ruby's memory can be made to Eastminster Presbyterian Church Memorial Fund.
