Ruby Osmond, 88, of Millbury, Ohio, passed away Thursday, July 28th at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Fordham, England on March 14, 1923 to Sidney and Elizabeth (Webb) Peachey. On January 24, 1945, she married Harry Osmond. Ruby worked as a housekeeper in England during WW II. Ruby was a longtime member of St. Paul United Methodist Church, Millbury, where she was a member of the women'™s guild and served as church treasurer. She enjoyed serving as a volunteer at Luther Home of Mercy and was an avid garage sale shopper. Ruby is survived by her husband of 66 years, Harry: children, Dian (Donald) Greenlese, Marilyn (Rier) Smith, and Gary (Arlene) Osmond; 10 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandson, sisters; Hazel and Phyllis. She was preceded in death by her parents, and sisters, Nellie and Kathleen. Friends may call at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Milbury Chapel on Monday from 10:00 am until time of funeral service at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
