Ruth K. (Dotson) Arvay, of Perrysburg, Ohio, passed away on April 11, 2017 at the Waterford at Levis Commons. Ruth was born May 12, 1927 in Adams County, Ohio to John and Polly (McCoy) Dotson. She was employed by the Lion Department Store and Sofos for many years. Surviving her are her daughters, Kathy (Dan) Liming and Pamela Fugate; her grandchildren Dan (Brenda) Liming, Jr., Verle Lynn (Dan) Momberg, Diana Ruth (John) Day, Kelly Moran, Karri (Derrick) Daniels, Stevie (Michelle) Fussnecker, Jr., Julian (Joseph) Pfeffer, and Polly (Mark) Spiller; 19 great grandchildren; and sister, Jerry McLain of Ripley, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Arvay; parents John and Polly; siblings Ralph, Verle, and Donald. Visitation will be held at Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home Oregon Chapel, 440S. Coy Road, on Friday, April 14 from 2:00 until 8:00pm. Funeral services will begin on Saturday, April 15, in the funeral home at 10:00am. Interment will follow in Restlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make an expression of sympathy in Ruth's memory are asked to consider Heartland Hospice.
