Ruth M. O'Brien Beck Ruth Beck, 93, of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at the Lutheran Home of Toledo. She was born in Oregon, Ohio on November 14, 1921 to Albert and Elizabeth (LaCourse) McGuire. Ruth was a member of Christ United Methodist Church and was active in the Womens Club there. She was well known for her sense of humor. Ruth is survived by her children, Patricia A. (Roger) Pickel, Thomas O. (Janice) O'Brien; son-in-law, Douglas Beckman; 10 grandchildren and 12 great-grand children. She was preceded in death by her husbands Francis O'Brien and Rev. Glenn Beck; parents; siblings, Mickey McGuire, N. Sue Free, Beatrice Potter, Oneida Fassett; daughter, Kathleen Beckman; step-children, Lynn Beck, Joyce Chandler, Lynda Hause. Visitation will be held at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 South Coy Road on Saturday, August 1, 2015 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the service at 1:00 p.m. Private Inurnment will take place at Lake Township Cemetery at a later date.
