Ruth A. CaJacob, 96, of Genoa, Ohio passed away Wednesday, January 30, 2019 at Genoa Retirement Center. She was born in Curtice, Ohio on May 6, 1922 to Carl and Clara (Jeremy) Dreier. Ruth graduated from Clay High School and would later marry the love of her life, Edward CaJacob on April 22, 1944 who preceded her in death. Together they raised their children in Point Place and were members of St. John the Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time in her flower and vegetable garden. Ruth was a devout catholic, a devoted mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who will be deeply missed. Ruth is survived by her children, Kathy Bryant (Vince Cybulski), Madelon (Mark) Nowak, Daniel CaJacob (Sara Cooper), Claire CaJacob (Debra DuMont); siblings, Emily Long, Karl and James Dreier; grandchildren, Dan, Nick, Molly, Libby, Trey, Mitchel; great-grandchildren, Ella, Ruth and Lee. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edward; daughter, Marilyn; siblings, Alden, Edna Lau, Harold, Charlotte Dippman, Gerald, Iva Baker, Donald and grandchildren, Amanda and Bianca. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Millbury Chapel, 1111 Woodville Road (east of I-280) on Sunday, February 3, 2019 from 2:00 pm- 8:00 pm. The family will also greet friends on Monday, February 4, 2019 at St. Ignatius Church, 212 N. Stadium Rd., Oregon, Ohio 43616 from 10 am until the time of Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in St. Ignatius Cemetery. Memorial contributions in Ruth's memory may be directed to Charity of Donor's Choice.
