Ruth M. Chucheck, 93, of Toledo, Ohio passed away on Thursday, October 2, 2003 in Parkcliffe Assisted Living Community. Mrs. Chucheck was born on August 16, 1910 in Monroe, MI to Herman and Effie (Torrence) Labo. She was the owner-operator of Ruth's Beauty Salon for over 30 years before her retirement. Ruth then continued to help out as a hairdresser for local nursing homes. In her free time she loved gardening flowers and vegetables. Surviving are her nephew, Pat (Sally) McGrew; niece, Theresa (Ron) Pfeifer; sister-in-law, Norma Chucheck of Appomatox, VA; in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Chucheck of Clearfield, PA and many great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Anthony. Friends may call in the Eggleston-Meinert-Pavley Funeral Home, Coy Road Chapel, where visitation will be Monday, October 6, 2003 from 5 to 9 pm. Funeral services will begin in the funeral home on Tuesday at 9:30 am and proceed to Good Shepherd Church for 10 am Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
