Ruth Margey (Seeburger) Mason
Ruth M. Mason, 87, of Oregon, OH passed away suddenly Monday, February 28, 2005. She was born in Toledo, OH on January 10, 1918 to Glenn Lewis and Naomi Clara (Mossbrugger) Seeburger. Ruth had been employed for many years at Tiedke's as a sales clerk. She was a member of the Oregon Homemakers Club, The Red Hat Society, and had been active in the Girl Scouts, 4-H Club, and the PTA at her children's school. She also enjoyed spending time at the Jefferson Senior Center where she was a member of the quilting group.
Surviving are her children, Glenn Paul (Marjorie) Mason, Tonita Jean (Myron) Strohscher and Phyllis Ann (Robert) Hartbarger; 10 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Marguerite Martha Griner and Jean Viola Dunmyer. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Boyd "Bud" Mason who was the former owner and operator of Mason Tire Company at Starr and Main Streets.
Friends and family may visit on Thursday, March 3, 2005 from 2 to 9 pm in the Eggleston Meinert Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, Coy Road at Starr Ave. where funeral services will be conducted on Friday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. Contributions in Ruth's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society or the charity of the donor's choice.
