Ruth L. Pendrey, 80, of Curtice, Ohio, passed away on Wednesday, May 18, 2022. She was born in Toledo, Ohio on November 15, 1941. After graduating from Waite High School she married the love of her life, Robert Pendrey on October 28, 1961. She worked at Hullhorst Tools for many years and was a member at St. John's Lutheran Church, Williston. Ruth was also a member of the Allen Township Allenettes, Womans Auxillary and Cooley Canal Yacht Club. In her earlier years she enjoyed fishing, bowling and tending to her vegetable garden. What she cherished most was spending time with her family and grandchildren. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Lynne (Ronald) Demko; grandchildren, Trey and Jenna Demko; sisters, Charlotte, Rita, Jane, Jean (Steven); sister-in-law, Marge; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert; brother, Paul; and brothers-in-laws, Bob, Richard and Jim. The family will receive friends at the Eggleston Meinert & Pavley Funeral Home, Oregon Chapel, 440 South Coy Road, Oregon, OH on Sunday, May 22, 2022, from 1:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Private Interment will take place. Expressions of sympathy in Ruth's name may be directed to Toledo Humane Society or Alzheimer's Association.
